Winner Teen Novel eBook Kristina Ludwig Reviews

I won this book as a gift. Let me just say that I truly enjoyed reading it. I believe it teaches you that life is not always about winning. True friends are ones who will be there for you no matter how good you are. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to read a good story...
I usually do not read these kinds of books but I must say that I really enjoyed the style of writing from the author. The story itself can teach you a lot of life lessons. I usually read stories to see what I can apply to my life. This book has taught me some good lessons. I recommend this book.
My sister first recommended this book to me whilst we are on holiday together. She always has fantastic book recommendations and this one was no different. I'm sure we all know someone like the main character Aubree! Finished the whole thing in two sittings as it is a real page turner. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good read at the start of 2014.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It puts you in mind of a lot of movies that deal with over ambitious youth. The story is so well written that young adults and adults will love the story. Aubree was so you to excelling at everything and it was great to see how she was able to handle not being the best of the best when she moves. You can really relate to her story even if you're not as ambitious as she is. This is a book worthy of written, and I applaud the author for writing this book.
Everyone has had an Aubree in their lives. You know that one person who just seems to do everything extremely well. sure, you do.
And you long for the day that person runs into a situation where he or she isn't dominant or excelling. I found myself like Matthew Broderick's character in the movie "Election" reading Kristina Ludwig's outstanding novel, "Winner". But when Aubree runs into trouble in the beautiful city of Chicago, i find myself rooting for her to make a comeback. "Winner" is the type of book that should be mandatory reading for young adults. It gives them both sides of the coin of a common dilemma that they face. Great read.
Winner was a nice, fast paced novel about a girl who was obsessed with winning. Even though I am in no way an "award-aholic" as she says, but being someone her age, I can definitely relate with a lot of the things that she went through.

The book was very well written, and I seriously loved reading it. The story was captivating and things happened fast, and Kristina didn't make you wait too long in suspense for anything. This was a perfect stand-alone, I loved it so much! Seriously, everything about this book drew me in, and kept me reading until the very end.

All of the characters were very relatable, no matter what age you are because of their personalities as well as some of their tendencies. Near the beginning of the book, I really didn't like the main character Aubree, but as time went, she grew on me. I loved seeing her character development throughout the book, as it is excellently well done.

The ending to this story was, once again, perfect. It ended just how I wanted it to end, and that made me enjoy the story 10 times more. Kristina did such a wonderful job with this book, I absolutely loved it. There is no doubt when I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Winner! Aubree, the main character, moves to Chicago and transforms from the person who wins everything to the one who doesn't, dramatically affecting her entire life. What Aubree faces is something we will face some time in our lives. The universal theme in the story is applicable to everyone.

I couldn't drop the book for a second; I really loved it and recommend it to everyone out there!
